When school's out, the fun will just begin! We are thrilled to invite the community to the 2nd Annual Celebrate Saybrook Street Party on Sunday, June 23, 2024, from 2:00 to 7:00 pm. This exciting event is the perfect way to kick off a great summer in Old Saybrook, and we can't wait to celebrate with you.

A part of Main Street will be closed to vehicular traffic, transforming it into a pedestrian-friendly zone. This creates a safe and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy live music, delicious food, craft beer, and an eclectic mix of vendors. It's a family-friendly event designed to bring our community together for an unforgettable day of fun and shopping.

 

Entertainment Highlights

Our entertainment lineup is packed with fantastic performances and activities that will delight attendees of all ages:

• Main Stage Bands: Enjoy the dynamic sounds of Jamie's Junk Show and the soulful tunes of Soul Sound Revue
• Small Stage Bands: Groove to the music of Jeremy Haddad and Seth Adams, with one more band to be announced
• Special Acts: Be amazed by Jason Tardy's juggling shows, and watch the Stilt Walker and Wandering Balloons create balloon animals for the kids
• Interactive Fun: Get your adrenaline pumping with Big Daddy Remote Control Racing and Whack a Mole. Test your skills on the Army National Guard Climbing Wall, or enjoy classic games like Cornhole, Giant Jenga, and Giant Tic Tac Toe

Indulge in a mouth-watering selection of food and beverages from our local favorites:

• 5 Brewers: Sample craft beers from five fantastic brewers
• Restaurants & Food Trucks: Over 30 restaurants and food trucks will be serving up a variety of delicious eats
• Vendors: Nearly 100 crafters, retailers, local stores, and other vendors will be on hand, offering a diverse array of products and services
